FAQs

Who is eligible to earn Continuing Education credits?

Women’s Health is a team effort – so our CME program is all about the ‘big tent’ and designed to be multidisciplinary. In support of improving patient care, the activities on this site have been planned and implemented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and The ObG Project. Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. In addition, we offer AMA non-physician credits/certificates too.  We recommend checking with your professional governing body to determine the applicability of these credits to your particular discipline.

How do I sign up?

CME is available to our ObGFirst subscription members. 1 hour per month of CME is included, and additional hours can be purchased on-demand by subscribers.

What if I don’t use all my credits this month?

No worries, they don’t expire! Your unused credits will roll over to the next month.

If I cancel my subscription to ObGFirst, do I keep my earned credits?

Yes, you keep your earned credits. Also, if you have paid for Continuing Education, you can still take the post-tests and receive your credits – even after the subscription expires.

Which entries are eligible for Continuing Education?

Identifying eligible entries is easy – just check for a badge on the associated picture. We are trying to make most, if not all, clinical entries available for Continuing Education.

Who is providing the Continuing Education?

In support of improving patient care, the activities on this site have been planned and implemented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and The ObG Project. Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Can I access the CE and the certificates I earn on both my phone and my computer?

Yes! All aspects of The ObG Project, including Continuing Education, are designed to be used on all your mobile devices, as well as your computer. You can view, print, or download your certificates anytime and keep track of your progress too.

If I don’t sign up for ObGFirst – are The ObG Project entries still available to me?

Yes! The entries will continue to be free for anyone who comes to the site. That’s a core part of our mission.

How much Continuing Education do I need?

We’ll help you keep track of how much Continuing Education you earn with The ObG Project – just click on ‘My Account’.
Please check with your state medical board, or other licensing entity, to find out what you need to complete your Continuing Education requirements.
